It's been almost 2 years since I began selling my own paintings. OVER A THOUSAND!!! It's very hard work. Working almost every day and long hours. I can see why many artists cannot do it themselves. Luckily, I have a very dependable staff- I could not do it without them.
The most difficult task is separating that which is disposable from the necessary. I picked up a book called the 7 Habits of Efficient People. It's targeted at taking these important decisions and prioritizing so that they're easier to make. Recommended reading for the intellectual person, such as myself ;-)
