It really bothers me that someone would call themselves an artist and copy other creative people's work. Why even bother?
I knew I would have that problem when I first began listing my work online. There is not a single moment in time that you won't find 5 other sellers on eBay copying my work.
HELLO! Even I don't attempt to copy my work. It's IMPOSSIBLE with all the different textures and materials I use. What's even more mind-boggling are the "collectors" that purchase this work. Why throw your money away?
For the past 2 years I've been in a battle with these kinds of folks along with a really good attorney in a law firm here in the city that has been vigilant in stopping these intellectual property rights violators.
All I have to say is: your time and energy will be better spent actually researching something you would enjoy AND be good at. And besides it's against the law.
