September 2005 Archives
Parades, food, games!
Masses and masses of people cram into Little Italy. The fiesta lasts 11 days and attracts more than 3 million people. Imagine that! If you've been to lower manhattan on the brick streets you know that it's pretty crowded as it is. My showroom is only a few blocks away so I'll be joining in the festivities.
Now, you won't catch me standing around eating a sausage but I do LOVE LOVE LOVE the trattorias- all year round actually. If you're in town on September 25 that's the official day of the feast. Mangia! Mangia!

Ok, time to go back to work.
It feels strange being away from New York because it's September 11th, the anniversary of the most significant day in the city's history in the last 150 years.
The fires burned for months and the air was full of toxins.
What most of you saw on your tv's, I experienced in real life.
Abe is such a comedian. No he really is. And he proved it last night at the Stand Up NY Comedy Club on 78th @ Broadway.
Known as the premier hangout for funny people, it's known for the hilarious repertoires that made most of the crew of Saturday Night Live famous.
But the club's best known for making people laugh when it's most needed.
