Bungalow 8

Went out to Bungalow 8 yesterday evening with my bff from LA. She came to visit and do some auditions here in the city. Unlike the majority of other inspirers, she's happened to snag a few roles and was even on last season's Fear Factor.

The last time I honored the lounge was the previous summer. We were standing around when this hot Texan Mama says her father's the president. We were all impressed thinking we'd get drinks on her since they owned the place. As it turned out "daddy" was the President of the United States and they were here for the republican convention.

I've frequently run into the Bush family in places you'd least expect. I met George Bush senior in the Aviation Club in Dubai. A posh sporting club and in the U.A.E. when they say upscale they really, really mean it. Although the Emirates natives are quite hospitable, it's always nice to see another American when on foreign soil. It makes you feel home and you immediately bond. However, this was a superficial casual greeting type of thing with the ex-Pres.
