We've added a new category to the website called "New Releases". This weekend new artwork will be listed:

About to leave for the weekend from this inferno of a city. But new artwork should be up soon.

Actually the entire website will soon get a makeover. I'm in the process of sorting through prototypes.

Stay cool.

This re-cap of Anderson Cooper's interview with Angelina Jolie is very entertaining. Just for legal & ethical purposes to state that I do not condone the Gawker's irrational, irreverent comments about the refugees (or anything else for that matter). But sometimes it's good to get some laughter out of dismal current events for stable mental health.

Warning! This site contains explicit language/material. Do not send us your hate mail. If you must, send it directly to gawker.com. Thanks.

On my way out to see who's out and about in this energetic city. Good night!

Julia Roberts was magnificent in her last performance. But even more genius were the other 2 actors (there were 3 cast members) Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper, whom I'll be watching out for in future Broadway shows. I can't believe this was Bradley Copper's debut on Broadway! He gave a superb performance. And Paul Rudd has a slew of experience to his resume, including Clueless and Friends + others. The director came out in the end to pay tribute to the actors on their closing night. As it turns out Abe knew him but luckily we were in a rush so I didn't have to suffer through unnecessary small talk.

When the show debuted the critics here gave the play miserable reviews, esp. Julia Roberts' acting. My guess is that she probably got better with time and in this last performance was really good. And I am very picky about actors being convincing enough being someone who is not very easily persuaded into believing anything.

We sat next to a girl i happened to have once been introduced to by Paris Hilton's younger sister Nicky. She was being verbally abused by her boyfriend the entire performance and I think now i too need a therapist. He took breaks from the stream of vehemence only because 2 gay guys next to him were so loud and obnoxious. At one point Abe said she was crying, and if you know Abe, doesn't take him too long before he loses his patience. He proceeded with his own utterances at the poor thing. Apparently the guy was complaining about her mother giving them the tickets as gifts and he was angry because his knees were touching the seats in front of them (we were the second row Orchestra).

Accept being soaked by the 'rain' everything else went well. Try to get out of the place. There were swarms of people waiting outside to get a glimpse of Julia and a total of only THREE cops in the area. So we practically had to inch our car through the crowd. Hope no one got hit- nothing to fret about- people get hit by buses all the time. And not just buses, cabs, limos and other livery, commercial and non autos, bikes and just regular pedestrians running into each other. If they can stand, they just get up and keep on walking.

"Peux je prends votre photo?"

"No."

And so my late night dinner at Senior Swanky's was interrupted. I was sitting outside and attempting to take a bite of my burrito when a very attractive French girl walks up to us from the outside and asks if she can take a picture of me. From what I could decipher from what she was saying was that she wanted to send it to her mother so she can think we're friends because her mom is uneasy about her living alone in NY. Finally she showed me a pic of her mom and I was convinced to just let her take her phone camera pictures.

Art: For the next couple of weeks, we'll be auctioning off some artwork on eBay. We'll be introducing much of the artwork for sale in the mailing list before they go into auction. So if you want one of my paintings join the list:

I live in New York so you won't have to.

NYC funding has been cut in half. That's right, in a city of 8 million, my home, somehow the Department of Homeland Security thinks our future is full of daises. how's your city doing?

Haven't posted lately. I've been back and forth LA-NY working on a new project. Someone emailed to say i was in a TMZ video. Eek. I'd post a link but this really has no place in my polite, semi-conservative blog. Also, this begins the season for vacations so expect large gaps between posts.

Gifts- i receive a deluge of gifts in the mail- thank you- one in particular i loved was dried hibiscus leaves. The note said to boil them but i would never do that. Just soak them since boiling only kills vitamins anyway. Another great gift just sent was from a collector who has a home in Brazil. It was a mini handmade sculpture which I will treasure.

Have a lovely weekend!
