smooth operator
i [heart] my visitors.
went out to a function at bubble lounge this week. you know you're getting old when you need to nap during the day to get through it. lately my energy begins dwindling by late afternoon. and before you say its my diet let me tell you that i have never had a BigMac or other such fast food in my life simply because my parents never allowed it as a child and i took that into adulthood. i wouldn't know what it even tastes like but i presume something to the effect of a delectable cardboard. seriously there was a time in my life when i could go days without sleeping. now, i might need to begin refueling.
met Carson Kressley from queer eye for the straight guy. he took much better to abe than me. (hmm.. wonder why?) but i'm never ignored when i look like a drag queen- which happens to be most of the time. i do tend to overdo everything with outrageous outfits on my nights out. on days out also, why not? candace bushnell put it best in an interview with rolling stone magazine when asked about her crazy outfits, "it's not like i have to be at an office job or anything." but on those miraculous nights i do tone it down, i usually become invisible. fags.
watched the movie the ground truth. it's graphic people so use with caution. if you haven't heard of it read the new york times review here. has the white house been transformed into an asylum yet? bush responded wednesday at a press conference: it is difficult to assess the situation in iraq for himself since he has- "never been on the ground in iraq". he lives in- "this beautiful white house." at least he was being honest. an aid of conscience should turn the channel on his tv to a real station rather than the fabricated fox- faux- news.
i'm excited to see Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer's Life, 1990-2005 exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Art. my dentist is there so two birds with one stone. missed the exhibit at the brooklyn museum.
