note to self: never. EVER. invite abe on set. monday he showed up in the largest truck he could find and parked directly behind one of our vans. she "ms. muffin top" came out asking him to move since there was another van with equipment coming and they need room to unload. nope. she became so irate and uncontrollable that eventually her cargo pants fell down. blame gravity and all the junk stuffed into her pockets. in an attempt to salvage whatever career i had left after the humiliating experience, kept to myself for the remainder of the day. pushed into a theoretical corner like that loser kid in the school's lunch room. alone for the remainder of the day with a pack of marlboros.
note to gentlemen traveling from nyc to l.a.: while it's permissible and normally encouraged for guys to touch each other in ny, in huntington beach don't walk up behind a guy and proceed to massage his shoulders. it's not ok.
talk about me: that was a noun not a verb. the nicest article was just sent to me in which the writer discussed some film scene i had created. and there was also a reprint of a press article (2005 read: very old) that was abhorrently misquoted. careful what you read.
just finished going through 600 of my 3800 emails of the past 3 weeks. these are the emails that get past my assistant but don't land on my blackberry (like when the subject starts with FW).

and so on.. i'll be frolicking through the rest of them for the better part of next week.
all the mail is nice. simply means we're doing it effectively. although i don't understand people who send out deranged, psychotic emails that could end them up in the slammer.
is it true? there's an edith piaf film coming? saw the billboard on the way home.
the website needs updating. the server crashed last week. and continues to be slow. so we're working with a friend of mine who owns a web hosting company to move this site (and the gallery one) over to a dedicated server. perhaps next month. will update.
going upstate later this weekend to clear my lungs of smoke so they don't rot- both my own doing and l.a. burning.
