hoosier
lapd sucks they really are worse than you see on tv. on saturday night we had a celebration of sorts in my old studio for mark's new, um, job. he's in film now but it's not actually rated pg you know. at some point i suppose we got too loud with live bands and contrabands and there must have been a singular person in the neighborhood. if you've never been to culver city: how do i describe it? except for the rampant city traffic that exists around the clock in los angeles, the very industrial section is desolate after 6pm. i mean there's not a soul in the buildings. the residences only begin after jefferson and we're on la cienega. so whoever this evil person was ended our festivities not-so-early.
back in nyc last night i had dinner with an art critic/writer from indianapolis who spoke of how insular the market is there (really, worse than ny?). hoosier is forever connected to politics for me. and i got the look of death when i called him that. while actually a native of ny i just wanted to use the word hoosier. use it 3 times..
not much planned today. maybe filming. speaking of, i have a new clip of a cabbie running me over on youtube.com/elsophia
cold out now. and i'm going for a run.
have a nice day.
